What?

Trichomoniasis is caused by tiny parasites infecting the vagina in women and the urethra (the tube you wee through) in both men and women. You can catch it through unprotected vaginal, anal or oral sex as well as close genital contact.

 

How?

Women will experience discharge, itching and irritation. Men might not have any symptoms.

 

Then?

You can be treated for this STI with antibiotics.
